What a check does not include
No break-in or penetration testing. No load testing. No code review — we test what your customers experience, not your source code. Payments are tested in test mode, never with real money. Everything below is something you can check before you pay us anything. A random site hides who they are and how they work. We do the opposite.
A real, named business
LaunchCleared is run by a real person, based in Ontario, Canada — and you deal with the same person from first email to final report. The business name appears on your invoice and your card statement.
Verified Stripe checkout
Stripe verifies our business before we can take a single payment. You pay through Stripe's own checkout — we never see or store your card details.
Proof before payment

Permission-first, always
Nothing is tested without your signed permission-to-test: the exact site, flows, and dates in scope. For paid checks you create the test accounts we use — we never ask for your own login. One email from you and testing stops instantly, no questions.
You can watch us work
Our test accounts are clearly named, so you'll recognise our activity in your own logs. Every action goes into a job log we share with you as testing runs: what we did, when, what test data we created — and confirmation it was cleaned up.
Written data rules
Screenshots in your report are redacted where they show real data. Test data is deleted within 30 days, with confirmation. An NDA is available on request. And the refund rule is in writing: if we can't complete a check, you get a full refund.
Apps that pass a retest earn this badge — and every badge we issue links to a public verification page with an ID anyone can look up. A badge that can't be verified is worthless, so ours always can be.
Questions
Before you ask
Is this hacking? Will you break my app?
No. We use your app exactly the way a customer does — through its screens, with test accounts you create — after you've signed a permission-to-test that names the site, flows, and dates. We don't probe for security holes, we don't touch your code or database, and one email from you stops testing instantly.
Do you need my password?
Never. For a paid check, you create test accounts for us (we'll tell you exactly what we need — usually a regular user and, if relevant, an admin). We never ask for your own login, your builder account, or your Stripe password.
Why not just run the free scan and fix things myself?
You can — the free findings are yours to keep. But the free scan can only see your public pages. It can't complete a payment, test a declined card, check your money maths, read your sign-up emails, or test whether one customer can see another's data. The full check also gives you repro steps, fix prompts, and a retest that proves the fixes worked.
How long does a full check take?
Your report lands within 48–72 hours of a complete intake — signed permission, test accounts, and your list of key flows. If part of your app turns out to be unreachable, we'll tell you straight away rather than let the clock run.
What if you can't complete my check?
You get a full refund. Anything we couldn't reach is also marked UNTESTABLE in the report, with the reason — we never quietly skip a section and hand you a thinner report than you paid for.
My app isn't built with Lovable, Bolt, or Base44. Can you still check it?
Very likely, yes — we test through the screens your customers use, so the method works for most web apps however they were built. AI-built apps are our specialty because their failure patterns are the ones we know best. Ask in the free scan request and we'll tell you honestly if your app is a fit.
What happens to my data?
We only ever see what your test accounts can see. Screenshots are redacted where they show real data, test data we create is cleaned up and confirmed deleted, and everything from your job is deleted within 30 days. An NDA is available on request.
